Did you know that on average
students who take the PSAT/NMSQT score 145 points higher on the SAT than
students who do not?
-The PSAT is great preparation for the SAT
required for college admission because it is designed just like the SAT.
-For juniors, it is the only opportunity to qualify for
the National Merit Scholarship as well as other qualifying scholarships!
-The PSAT will be given at DA Wednesday, October 14 to all 10th
graders and all interested 11th graders.
-Sophomores take the PSAT at no cost to them;
however, juniors must pay a $14 registration fee. This can be paid during your
lunch Tuesday-Thursday September
8 through October 9.
-Any junior who is unable to pay the fee should speak
to his or her guidance counselor.
-The deadline to register is October 9.
-Visit DA’s website for more PSAT/NMSQT
information.
