PFLAG of Jacksonville is pleased to offer transgender youth (12 and younger) and their families an opportunity to meet other families and move trans health forward by guiding the development of trans-specific work at the new Pediatric Wellness Center, as well as PFLAG efforts to increase awareness and resources for trans youth and their families.

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, April 27th at 630pm at the Jacksonville Children’s Commission (1095 A. Philip Randolph Blvd, 32206) and will be spearheaded my Meredith Wilkes (PFLAG Board Member, mother, and particularly, mother of a trans daughter).

While the regular meetings are reserved for the youth and their immediate family members, we anticipate planning larger community events for shared education, increased visibility and broader efforts to Move Equality Forward.

We are thrilled to undertake this new work and deepen our ability to respond to the needs of our community. If you or someone you know is the caregiver or family member of a young trans child and might benefit from this opportunity, please connect them using the information below.
