My name is Haydee and I’m with The Venus Morris Griffin Scholarship Fund, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization. We are reaching out to let you know that our annual scholarship will be opening soon for high school seniors. The Annual Scholarship is for $10,000 and is not academic-based and available for students with an incarcerated parent. We invite any qualified students to apply. I’ve attached a PDF information packet for your information. The application is now open online.

Important Dates:

  • Application available: September 15, 2021

  • Application deadline: November 1, 2021

  • Scholarship announcement: November 30, 2021

To Qualify:

  • You must be a high school Senior in the United States

  • Demonstrate acceptance into either an institution of higher learning or a trades program

  • One (1) entry letter allowed per person/email address/household

  • Winner will be notified by e-mail and posted on venusmorrisgriffin.com and announced on November 30, 2021
