Colleagues,
I am writing to share with you a scholarship opportunity for high school JUNIORS. The Horatio Alger Association will be awarding one $25,000 scholarship and several $10,000 scholarships to students in every state!I received the scholarship in 1992 as a scholar from New Hampshire. As a first generation, low-income, rural student I can say without hesitation that the scholarship changed the trajectory of my life. I now have the privilege of giving back by leading dual enrollment programs that help students transition to college. I serve on the scholarship selection committee, and many of our scholarship applicants have taken dual enrollment courses. The Association provides guidance and support, which is why they are now selecting high school JUNIORS so that they can provide additional assistance and preparation to all scholarship recipients. Alumni like me are also available as mentors and volunteers. All the information and the application are on the official website: https://scholars.horatioalger.org/
