Jacksonville's Tomorrow's Leaders Awards

Educators, mentors, community leaders, and youth-oriented non-profit organizations are encouraged to nominate deserving students who exemplify the ideals and principles of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for the City of Jacksonville's Tomorrow's Leaders Award.  Nominations will be accepted for students in grades 4 - 12. After the student is nominated, they will be required to submit a legible, preferably typed, essay based on a predetermined topic and word count based on grade level.

Nominations and essays are due by Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. EST (no exceptions).  

Award recipients will be notified beginning December 5, 2022 and will be recognized during the 2023 Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast on Friday, January 13, 2023.
